Online training videos
Visit the Tech Savvy Seniors YouTube channel for a range of online training videos in selected community languages. Videos cover topics such as smartphones, smartphone apps and zoom. Videos are available in English, Arabic, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish and Hindi.
Training sessions
Tech Savvy Seniors training sessions have been developed by Telstra and the Department of Communities and Justice. Training sessions should be two-hours and 15 minutes long and offered free of charge to participants.
Some training materials and resources for participants are available on the Telstra website and others are available below.
Resources for trainers
Detailed Trainer Guides are available (in English) for each training session. Trainers should use the content outlined in the Trainer Guides and customise training sessions to reflect the needs of participants.
Resources for participants
Quick Reference Guides are available on the Telstra website in English and a number of languages. You can print and hand out these guides to participants.

The State Library of NSW partners with the Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECC) to provide bilingual educators to deliver CALD sessions in libraries in the Sydney metropolitan area. Libraries outside the Sydney metro area find educators in their local communities.
