Comedies, Histories and Tragedies is an event series presented with Bell Shakespeare in line with the State Library of NSW’s new exhibition For All Time: Shakespeare in Print, which celebrates the 400th anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare’s First Folio. In a series of monthly panel talks each focusing on a specific play from the Folio, some of Australia’s pre-eminent Shakespeare minds and artists will discuss the Bard, his extraordinary body of work, and his creative influence throughout time. Feature plays include Richard III, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Julius Caesar.

In an evening of discussion and celebration of Romeo and Juliet, Bell Shakespeare’s Joanna Erskine is joined by Kathryn Barker, Rose Riley, Jacob Warner and Dr Lauren A. Weber.

This initiative is proudly supported by the NSW Government through the Culture Up Late Program.
