Details
In this interactive virtual excursion, students will explore diaries written by soldiers at Gallipoli to gain an understanding of the nature of warfare and everyday life on the peninsula. These first hand accounts will be brought to life by accompanying sources, from the State Library’s vast WWI collection. Students will also explore the usefulness of war diaries as sources when conducting an historical investigation into the nature of warfare at Gallipoli.
